Bloody fire alarm. It's lucky it went off when it did-five minutes later and I would have been soaking in my bathtub, and hell hath no fury like a woman whose bubble bath has been interrupted. Got the joy of seeing how idiotic freshman can be-apparently a fire drill necessitates 3 fire trucks and a police car.
The 911 operator and fire department operator were very nice. I called just to make sure someone had-I assumed our fire alarms would automatically do that, but I didn't really trust them.
Have had my bath now. It was all the better for having stood in the cold for fifteen minutes, because I forgot to grab my jacket. Yay, warmth.

And now, I'm going to bed. Yay, sleep!

ah yes dorm life... at least you don't have to walk down/up 18 flights of stairs!
