(no subject)

So, today I burned my foot feeding the birds, and then I went on a shopping spree. And then I stayed up until 1 a.m. making my parents an anniversary card. It's their 40th, and I felt like I ought to commemorate it somehow. (Somewhere along the way, in thinking about how long that was, I thought "Wow, that's longer than I've even been alive." And then I had to look at myself funny until I figured out that yes, that was how that worked.)
