You know, maybe today is one of those days when I should just give up and go back to bed. It's pretty obvious I'm not going to get anything accomplished today.

Well, the good news is my parents had a good visit with my niece today. I was a little worried, since Laurel was coming with her mom, and there's a little tension between her and my parents. But there was no problem-apparently my niece ran right to my dad when he came out, and she stayed with them while Laurel and her mom ran an errand. It sounds like my niece remembered my parents, which is good. And apparently she's quite a talker, and likes strawberries. :) I cannot wait to see her this summer.

The bad news is, my sewing machine is well and truly broken. It's going to run about $100 to fix, unless I can figure out where to get the parts and fix it myself-then it'll only be half that. ::sigh:: So all those projects I was going to do this week are on indefinite hold. Extremely disappointing.
