If your frozen pizza is packaged on a cardboard circle, you should be certain to remove the cardboard from the pizza before baking. Furthermore, one should always read all of the directions on the pizza box carefully, in order to know that one's pizza is packaged on a cardboard circle.

I did, at least, remove the plastic. I just didn't notice the cardboard.
