So, I got something really bizarre in the mail today. "ProEvo: Pro Evolution -Guideline for an Age of Joy". It's by Tomotom Stiftung, a name which I sincerely hope is a pseudonym. There is no indication of how these people got my address-the card says the the author set up a Foundation, and that the book is a free gift from the Foundation. However, the Foundation does not seem to have a name.

From the intro: "This guideline [for human thought and action] is oriented on cosmic evolution. Scientists have termed it the "evolutionary ethic".

Skimming it, it looks very much like a religous text, if various scientific and social science concepts were taken as religous precepts.

(A google for his name reveals a lot of other confused people. I'm glad to know I'm not alone. And one of the sites yielded the website, in German.)
