Jan. 5th, 2009 12:29 pmI had a really good Christmas. It was nice to see my brother and his family again-my niece is growing up so fast! She can already count to 60 in English and Spanish. And we had a tea party with her new dolls and stuffed animals, and my new stuffed animals, and my sis-in-law's old dolls, and Cthulhu and a rhinovirus. Which tells you what my family is like. Discovered my sis-in-law and I have a very similar sense of humour-which often led to my brother looking at both of us like we'd gone mad. :) All I say is, if we watch Star Wars on Christmas eve, you have to expect "That's no cookie, it's a Death Star!"
Had fun on New Year's too-hung out with Tracey and Robin at one of Tracey's friend's parties. Torchwood and Buffy make for as good auld lang syne as anything. And I am now the proud owner of blank My Little Ponies-you should be shaking in fear now.
Have just been scolded by the cat for sitting in the computer room all day. I've been trying to fill something out so I don't have to go in to work today, since I have to go in tomorrow.
My uncle has had a stroke, so my parents and my aunt have gone up to visit him and bring him back here. This leaves me to tend to my cats and my aunt's dog-I'm a little worried about him when I'm at work,but she aid he'd be okay. I'm also worried about me getting up to go to work by myself-alarm clocks don't always like me.
